Meyer Music’s Band of Angels Benefit with Fox 4 Morning Show Team

clock February 20, 2012 15:11 by author Jeff Quibell

Hello all!  Many of you know about the charity program we have started with Fox 4 TV called Band Of Angels.  We collect used musical instruments from donors and make them available free of charge to kids in need.  The program has been very successful and we have given out roughly 300 instruments in the last year to schools and students so they could participate in band and orchestra. This has been a very fulfilling program and is a wonderful way to help children find music.  The best part is that this is a local program and we have been able to help kids across the Missouri and Kansas Metro and surrounding areas.

I have been approached by many who wanted to donate but did not have an instrument to give to the program.  So here is a great way you can help and share some fun times with us too.  On Friday evening March 2nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm we are going to have a reception with the Fox 4 Morning Show Team.  Come meet your favorite Fox 4 morning show personalities: Mark, Loren, Nick, Stefan & Karli.   For a $15 donation per person to the program, you will be invited to the reception at Gaslight Grill in Overland Park.    At the reception, Gaslight Grill will also donate 15% of any of the food or drinks purchased that evening.  You can also stay for dinner after the reception and 15% of your meal will go towards Band of Angels.  Our goal is to use these funds to help kids who have received a Band of Angels instrument attend music camps.  To get tickets online click here:

The reception is limited to the first 150 people who respond to make their $15 donation.  Your ticket to the reception may be purchased through me or at any of our Meyer Music store locations.  Attached is more detailed information about the event.  I hope you will consider coming to join us.  If you can’t make it and would like to make some type of a donation, feel free to email me back. My sincerest thanks
