Let’s Move! Saturdays – Saturday, Aug. 11 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. Lunar Bowl, 2001 NW 7 Highway. 

Music in the Park Concert – Sunday, Aug. 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. the band, Johnny Rampage (classic rock) will perform from the gazebo at Rotary Park at Railroad Lake, 600 NW Vesper Street. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy this free concert event.

Centennial Pool – Open daily from noon to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. Features two giant water slides, a 25-yard indoor, 50-meter outdoor, and a wading pool. Daily admission is $5 for ages 4 and older (3 and under free), season memberships also available. The pool is located at 2401 NW Ashton Drive.

Mighty Mud Volleyball Tournament – Saturday, Aug 4 from 8 a.m. – approx 4 p.m. at Hidden Valley Park, 6500 NW Valley View Road. Tourney is full but still lots of fun to watch!

Blue Springs Car Cruise – Saturday, Aug 4 from 5 – 7 p.m.   See Custom Cars, Muscle Cars, Trucks, and Hot Rods on Main Street in Downtown Blue Springs. Concessions available and area Soda Fountain & Tea Room open.

Blue Springs City Theatre Presents Willie Wonka – Thursday through Sunday, July 19-22 at the Blue Springs High School Auditorium, 2000 NW Ashton Drive. Performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m. Tickets available on line at www.bluespringscitytheatre.com or at the box office one-half hour in advance of each performance.

Street Flick Outdoor Movie – Friday, July 20, our feature presentation, Angels in the Outfield starts as dusk. Children’s games and activities begin at 7:15 p.m. Free popcorn & water, concessions available. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and get comfortable under the stars. Downtown Blue Springs at 12th and Main Streets.
