The City of Blue Springs is bringing forward two issues for our consideration.

  • Question 1 is a "No Tax Increase" bond issue to fund the expansion of our sewer system and make upgrades to our sewer treatment facilities are that being required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.  This question is important because it will give our city access to low-interest financing through the state.  Information about this bond issue is available on the city web site at http://www.bluespringsgov.com/index.asp?NID=671
  • Question 2 is a "No Tax Increase" bond issue to fund four large street projects in our city.  These include the widening of Woods Chapel Road, improvement of the Duncan Road and Woods Chapel intersection, extension of Moreland School Road to Liggett Road, and the completion of the Highway 7 and Colbern Road intersection.  Information about this issue is available on the city web site at http://www.bluespringsgov.com/index.asp?NID=675.  Detailed information about both questions can be found on the city web site at http://www.bluespringsgov.com/index.asp?NID=670
