Dear Blue Springs Historical Society Friends and Members,

Our Annual Meeting, Dinner and Program is Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00 pm, at the Masonic Lodge, 908 W Main Street, downtown Blue Springs.  I have attached a flyer about the evening.  It tells about the program, cost of meal and where to purchase a ticket.

Our guest speaker is Barbara Hughes always informative and a delight to hear.  She will speak on “Inflamed, Desperate Jackson County August 1863!”.  She will speak on Order # 11 that effected the counties of Jackson, Cass, Bates, and Vernon during the Civil War.  She is a historian, researcher, storyteller and speaker.

Mayor Carson will give an update on the City of Blue Springs.  Steve Greer, 1926 Chicago & Alton Depot Restoration Project Manage will inform us on what has been accomplished and what we still need to do.

Hope to see you on Tuesday, April 16th for a great home cooked meal, informative speakers and getting see old friends and make new friends.

Thank you for your support and service to our Blue Springs Historical Society.
